What is PBIS?

 PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports and is a proactive approach to establishing positive behaviors needed in school for all students to achieve social, emotion, and academic success. Emerson School promotes PBIS in several ways.

Que es PBIS?

PBIS significa Comportamiento Positivo de Intervenciones y Apoyo. PBIS establece conductas positivas necesarias en la escuela para que todos los estudiantes puedan  lograr un éxito social, emocional y  académico. La Escuela Emerson promueve PBIS de varias maneras.

Student Attendance

Coming to school every day is crucial for ensuring the academic success of our students.

At Emerson School we encourage our students to be at school every day. Our daily school wide attendance goal is 97%. We expect that 97% of our students are at school each day.

Each quarter at Emerson we post pictures of students with perfect attendance on our display at the entrance and students get to participate in our Teacher versus students sports activities.  Students have won more games than the teachers and they truly enjoyed having the opportunity to show their skills!

Asistir a la escuela todos los días es crucial para asegurar el éxito académico de nuestros estudiantes.

Nosotros animamos a nuestros estudiantes a asistir a la escuela todos los días. Este año nuestra meta diaria de la asistencia escolar es el 97%. Esperamos que el 97% de nuestros estudiantes asistirán a la escuela cada día.

Cada trimestre se publican las fotos de los estudiantes con asistencia perfecta en la vitrina cerca de la entrada de la escuela.
