Kindergarten Jump Start Program
Kindergarten is such a critical year, therefore District 89 is committed to providing your child a Jump Start to Kindergarten for a successful start to their educational journey! We are thrilled to be offering a Kindergarten Summer Program to support your child in preparing for this upcoming school year.

In order to ensure the effectiveness of the program, children must be able to attend from July 12 through August 5th, Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 11:30am. Space will be limited to 10 students per elementary school; therefore, the selection will be based upon the date the survey was completed and homeschool.
Due to construction in some of our schools we have selected the following locations:
- Garfield
- Lincoln
- Melrose Park
- Jane Addams
- Van Buren
Parents will be responsible for transportation; however, all efforts will be made to assign a location near your families homeschool.
We will also, strive to group students based on their homeschool so they can start to build friendships with their potential classmates.
